There are apple trees in our yard. Some apples are red and little like me and some apples are green. I helped dad watch them all to make sure they stayed in the bin while he got more. I tasted them to see if they were good and they were! Don’t go by the face I’m making, because that is my eating face. If I like it I make a face. If I don’t like it, I wipe it off my tongue.  The little red apples are very sour, but they are ready to eat. The green apples are sour too but they are not ready to eat.  We picked the green ones from a branch that fell off the tree.  Mom said it was because there were too many apples.  I don’t think you can have too many apples, but I guess that tree does. Dad made 4 gallons of juice from all the apples I kept in the bucket.  Good thing I didn’t let any get away.

  1. Thank you sooooo much for helpng me!!

  2. Your Talbott relative are happy you are learning about apple harvest. Now you need to teach Daddy how to make apple sauce. He will probably need to get a food mill. You can probably find one at a yard or estate sale.
