Stock Show

Posted on

After almost everyone was well again we had one day to go out and have fun.  So I went to the National Western Stock Show.  That’s where they have things like Rodeo Clowns and Horses and Pigs and Goats.  We watched the rodeo clown, Oliver said he was going to hide from the bulls, but all he did was pull a hamster out of a french horn.  I didn’t think his jokes were very funny.  We went to look at the animals, but I didn’t get to pet any of them.  The line was very long to get to the animals that liked to have you touch them.  I watched some of the horses go by, but I couldn’t see them jump.  I was too short to see over the rail.  We played dress up, but the only thing they had for playing dress up was hats and the first hat I had on totally clashed with my outfit.  Plus I DO NOT LIKE HATS.  Mom says they make me 10% cuter so she’s always trying to put them on me.  Overall it was a good day.  I got to hang out with Mom and Oliver and Max and I had a nap and lunch.  Then I played with Dad and Sarah and Corey.  Those are my favorite kind of days.

  1. Sort-of-Aunt Sarah

You should embrace the hats, Sylvs. For some of us, they make us look 10% less cute.

  2. Sylvia you have accomplished something I never did even though we lived in the area two different times. You don’t know this but you had a Great,Great,Great Aunt or something like that, who was very active in the Cow Bells and was very involved at the Stock Show.

You do look good in .”Hats”. I did worry about your boots and hoped you had not lost one. They are very cute.
Aunt Sharon called this evening and asked about you. If it is OK with you and I could figure out how to send your picture I would.

    • You could just give Aunt Sharon the website sylvialuella.wordpress.com and she could see all the pictures she likes. But you can also email them. I will take you with me to the stock show next time I go.
